China: Tricycle paper load caught fire while passing through a street in China
Liuzhou, China - January 04, 2026 This is the dangerous moment that a Chinese man riding a tricycle unknowingly caused a small fire on the back of his vehicle while smoking, creating a potentially dangerous situation before passersby stepped in to warn him. On January 5, 2026, in Guangxi, China, the video captured a man riding a three wheeled tricycle loaded with flattened cardboard boxes when smoke began rising from the cargo behind him. The footage showed that the man was smoking while riding and appeared completely unaware that one of his cigarette butts had likely fallen onto the paper materials, causing them to smolder and catch fire. As the cardboard started to burn, light gray smoke became increasingly visible, trailing behind the moving vehicle. Several pedestrians noticed the smoke and rushed toward the tricycle, shouting and gesturing to alert the rider. The man looked confused at first and then realized that his load was on fire, immediately stopping the vehicle by the roadside. According to people at the scene, firefighters arrived shortly afterward and used extinguishers to put out the flames completely, preventing further damage or injury. The video ended with the man stopping the tricycle by the roadside and bending down to check the burning cardboard.
