On January 5, 2026, in Guangxi, China, the video captured a man riding a three wheeled tricycle loaded with flattened cardboard boxes when smoke began rising from the cargo behind him. The footage showed that the man was smoking while riding and appeared completely unaware that one of his cigarette butts had likely fallen onto the paper materials, causing them to smolder and catch fire. As the cardboard started to burn, light gray smoke became increasingly visible, trailing behind the moving vehicle. Several pedestrians noticed the smoke and rushed toward the tricycle, shouting and gesturing to alert the rider.
