According to an Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent, supporters of both teams have been pouring into the city ahead of the high-stakes clash, while preparations around the Tangier Grand Stadium and its surrounding area have intensified.

Among the fans soaking up the pre-match atmosphere is Egyptian supporter Mohammed al-Sayyid, who praised the tournament’s overall spirit in Morocco and highlighted the warm welcome extended to visiting Egyptian fans.

Al-Sayyid said the hospitality shown by local residents has made Egyptians feel “as if they are in their own country,” pointing to both the friendliness of the Moroccan public and the smooth organization of the event.

The build-up in Tangier is expected to continue throughout the day as fans gather near the stadium for one of the tournament’s marquee matchups.
