Iran: Iran Seizes Smuggled Internet Gear
Iran - January 15, 2026 Iran said its intelligence forces had seized a shipment of Starlink satellite internet kit and other electronic devices allegedly being brought into the country for espionage and sabotage purposes. Intelligence officials said the shipment entered the country illegally from a unnamed neighbouring country and was intended for distribution to provinces experiencing anti-regime protests.
