China: Chinese cat catches mouse after tense standoff in road
Hunan, China - December 24, 2025 On December 25, 2025, in Hunan Province, located in central China, a video recorded a dramatic chase as a cat pursued a frightened mouse onto a roadway. A motorcycle sped past them, causing both animals to freeze momentarily in the middle of the street. The cat and mouse watched each other closely, each waiting for the other to make a move. When the mouse attempted to dash away, the cat instantly lunged and grabbed it with precision, ending the chase. The cat then carried the mouse quickly across the road and disappeared from view.
