"It's hard to describe, but after years of surrounding myself with the wrong things and saying the wrong things, it's profound when it just all comes to a screeching halt one day at 30 years old in New York City.”. Puth went on to emphasise that he doesn't "drink at all" now. ”I think it clouds my judgment," the 34-year-old mused. Elsewhere in the conversation, the Attention singer discussed some of the "cringe" moments he had in the early days of his career, such as wearing a fake lip ring and dyeing his hair blond. "I made tons of mistakes along the way. The blond hair was really bad. I don't know what I was thinking there. I can't even look at myself half the time from the years 2015 to 2022. I just didn't know what I was doing. I used to be very cringe.”.
