Las Vegas-based Irish band's McGregor song a hit with UFC
Las Vegas-based Irish band the Black Donnellys have scored a hit with the UFC, licensing their Conor McGregor tribute song "Notorious" to the organization to promote UFC 202.
The song has been used as the soundtrack to a UFC-produced video which is being used to promote the fight, in which McGregor meets Nate Diaz in a much-anticipated rematch at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday. Songwriter Dave Rooney and guitarist Dave Browne explained how the song came about, and what McGregor means to Irish fans and fight fans all over the globe.
