ALEPPO, SYRIA - JAN. 27, 2026: A second humanitarian aid convoy of five trucks has been dispatched to Ayn al-Arab, a district in northern Syria under the occupation of the YPG-SDF terrorist organization.

According to Syria’s state television broadcaster SANA, the convoy was sent by the Aleppo Emergency Response Center Committee, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and the International Committee of the Red Cross, departing from the city of Aleppo.

The aid shipment is expected to reach Ayn al-Arab by passing through a humanitarian corridor opened by the Syrian army near the village of Nour Ali.

The convoy is carrying food supplies, winter clothing, medical equipment, and logistical materials.

Civilian crossings through the humanitarian corridor opened in the YPG-held Ayn al-Arab district on Sunday.

The Syrian government had previously sent the first humanitarian aid convoy, made up of 24 vehicles, to Ayn al-Arab on Sunday, following the extension of a ceasefire.

The Defense Ministry announced that the ceasefire with the YPG terrorist organization was extended for 15 days starting from 11.00 pm local time (2100GMT) on Saturday.
