A dramatic video from the Newsflare archive of a road rage incident after a motorist appeared to drive too close to a cyclist in Kingston upon Thames in south-west Greater London.

The footage, shot in June 2016 by the cyclist with a helmet-mounted camera, shows a convertible car pulling out as he is riding down the road.

The cyclist taps the side of the vehicle to make him drive further away from him.

After the incident, the cyclist tries to cycle away but the motorist chases him and forces him to stop before insulting him.

Car pulls out can't pass me. Gets very upset because I tap his side to tell him to get away. Proceeds to drive dangerously at me three time and then gets out and moves threatening towards me. First time I'm frightened enough to defend myself with the D-lock. Expired MOT
The incident was reported to the police and the driver eventually received a police caution
