YMCA conducting each camp for 15 days only for women at YMCA under the auspices of YMCA Visakhapatnam of Oriental Martial Arts and Andhra Pradesh Mixed Martial Association (APMMA) jointly organised in the visakhapatnam City. The training will be given by Shihan Devadanam, Ex-Coach, Special Task Force, Royal Army of Oman, General Secretary Visakha District Judo Federation and National Technical Director of All India Mixed Martial Arts Association.
The candidates will be trained in a combination of salient features of several martial arts including Karate, Judo, Kick boxing, Kung-fu, Savate and especially Aikido as well as commando combat tactics to help women defend themselves against opponents. The camp would also include counseling on how to remain alert and detect danger and use their reflexes effectively to incapacitate the opponents.
