Police Officer Pushes Football Fan To The Ground
A police force has launched an investigation after an officer was caught on video shoving a football fan to the ground in what appears to be an unprovoked attack. Shocking footage shows an officer wearing full riot gear push Birmingham City fan Rodney Mahon, 43, in the back sending him sprawling onto his face. Mr Mahon suffered bruising and cuts in the incident which happened after Birmingham City 1-1 drew with arch rivals Aston Villa on Sunday (30/10). The clip, taken by fellow fan Scott Findlay, shows Mr Mahon fall to the ground and clutch his side in pain. The same officer is then seen to boot another man who was also lying on the ground, in the chest.
