A shocking video has emerged from China of an elderly woman getting run over, leaving one of her feet caught under the car's wheel, prompting a rescue by passersby.

The CCTV footage, filmed in Wuhan, Hebei Province on October 13, shows the moment the car clips the woman and pulls her foot under the front-right wheel.

After a short, period of time a group of passersby come to her aid and lift the car off her.

Fortunately, her injuries were not too severe.

The CCTV footage, captured in Wuhan, Hubei Province on October 13, shows an elderly woman suddenly walking to the driving lane knocked down by a car, while her foot is run over and gets trapped.

Then, a group of people come over to try to lift the car up together.

Fortunately, the elderly woman was rescued and she was not injured severely.
