Footage of a cat being rescued by its owners after getting stuck inside the walls and under the floor.

The video, filmed in London, UK on November 19, shows the cat being freed by the owners, after earlier in the day a plumber opened the floor to relocate a radiator, and the new opening proved too much of a temptation for the curious pet.

The filmer later wrote online: "[We] heard faint meowing from in the walls and under the floor of the house.

"The sounds seemed to come from many locations."

"Remembering that the plumber had opened up the floor to relocate a radiator some eight or so hours earlier we assumed that our cat Monty may have let his curiosity get the best of him," he continued.

"This is a video of the rescue."
