Extremely Loud Thunder Causes Camera To Briefly Malfunction

Buy video

During a drive home from work the weather was about to get really bad. Though I had my GoPro camera unhinged from the waterproof case(making it rattle) AND I was travelling at 70+ MPH, the thunder can still be heard very clearly. It also has an effect on the video and makes it briefly skip right as the thunder sounds.

It caught me off guard and surely those around me. Shortly after the thunder the bottom fell out and it started raining very hard - luckily I wasn't terrible far from home.
