Amazing drone footage showcases stunning rainbow mountains in Peru
A stunning rainbow mountain has been discovered in Peru and captured by a drone.
Travellers from the UK climbed to the peak of the mountain which is at 5000 metres above sea level.
Photographer Lee Thompson of Flash Pack tours captured the incredible drone footage after trekking 9.3 miles to the peak of the Vinicunca mountain in the South American Andes.
Using horses to carry the kit they camped at the foot of the mountain to wait for the snow to stop falling before making it to the peak the following day.
With the help of expert guides, all the Flash Pack group successfully made it to the top and now have amazing drone footage to remember it and give them ultimate bragging rights on social media.
Thompson said: “This really is South America’s best-kept secret!”
This footage was filmed in December 2016.
