Deer rescued from snow in Austria
A dramatic video has emerged online of skiers rescuing a deer after it had fallen into a snow hole in Obertilliach Austria.
The three professional skiers found the wild deer after it had fallen deep within the snow unable to move.
Having used a rope attached to its antler to haul the deer out, it then fell into another hole, requiring a second rescue operation.
After an hour and a half of pulling and digging, the animal was set free and galloped off without injury.
