Astonishing security camera footage has emerged from China of a Mercedes driver appearing to run over a parking attendant deliberately.

In the clip, which was filmed in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on May 23, the parking attendant tries to prevent the driver of the Mercedes from entering the carpark but the driver advances in any case, forcing the attendant out of the way.

With the driver clearly intent on entering the carpark, the attendant lies down in the road to block the driver's path but amazingly the driver just runs right over him.

The attendant was treated in hospital for his injuries but was out of danger, according to local media.

The driver was arrested as police investigate the incident further, according to local media.

The CCTV video, filmed in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on May 23, shows a security guard trying to stop a Mercedes driving into the parking lot, but the driver still forces to move forward.

Then, the guard suddenly lies down in front of the car and the driver just runs him over.

The security was treating in hospital and he was out of danger.

While, the Mercedes driver was arrested by police and the case was in further investigation.
