Extremely intense sulfur fumes from the top of the summit craters of volcano Etna, widely covered by sulfur which color the yellow surface, creating spectacular atmosphere.
The degassing vent opened on the northeastern inner wall of the Voragine Crater Is particularly active and produces a tall steam column which expanding makes the air irrespirable.
Footage taken on the edge of Etna's Bocca Nuova Crater at 3300 metres amsl,
it shows various collapsed areas in the middle of the crater floor and the sulphurous surface hit by volcanic bombs.
