Totton level crossing had activated for to allow the passage of an approaching train. When the barriers were about to descend, a man walked onto the crossing, and then he was stopped by the now-descending barriers. Two of the barriers then stopped in mid-air to allow the man exit, however he just stayed there, despite me calling him to "Get off the crossing". The telephone at the crossing then started ringing, and I picked it up. The signaler on the other end of the phone asked what was going on and if someone could remove them man from the crossing. As he was talking, the man on the crossing was removed by a bystander.
