The beautiful Saddle-billed Stork (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis) is listed as endangered in South Africa. This pair was fishing on the Shingwedzi River crossing in Kruger Park. The male has a dark eye and a yellow wattle on his throat; the female has yellow eyes and no throat wattle.
