An important wrist watch given to Elvis Presley has smashed its £75,000 valuation after it was sold at auction for a staggering £1.4 MILLION.

The 18 carat white gold and diamond Omega timepiece was bought by RCA Records from Tiffany & Co in 1961.

Elvis had joined the record company six years earlier and it was estimated he'd reached 75 million record sales on Christmas Day, 1960.
