Couriers and local residents caught a 3-year-old boy falling from the fifth floor of a residential building in eastern China.

In the CCTV video, filmed in Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province on May 22, a man grabs a quilt hanging on a clothesline and then more people come to hold it together, managing to catch a boy falling from a residential building.

According to local news, a courier named Liu Chunfeng saw a boy who fell onto the second floor roof and was about to fall down again.

Liu shouted to the boy, “Do not move,” while people tried to open a quilt to catch the boy.

However, the boy fell down before they could open the quilt completely. The rescuers had to use both the quilt and their hands to try to protect him.

The boy was sent to hospital and he suffered fractures on his left arm and right leg.
