Shocking footage shows the moment a driver of an allegedly stolen vehicle tries to ram cyclists in London.

Footage captured on August 1 on Clapham Road near Stockwell, South London, shows the driver of an Audi hurling abuse and throwing objects at a cyclist stopped at traffic lights.

In separate footage, the motorist is seen to have overtaken the cyclist dangerously.

The driver sets off and swerves into the group of cyclists, leading one of the riders to slam the rear passenger window of the vehicle.

Further down the road, the Audi appears to have mounted the pavement and the driver and another cyclist shout at each other.

The driver loudly announces that the vehicle is "stolen" before attempting repeatedly to ram the cyclists.

The Audi reverses down Dorset Road as police officers in an unmarked car show up.

Video shows an incident in Stockwell, South London during which an Audi driver appears to have rammed a cyclist off the road, he is seen throwing items out of the car at cyclists and mounting the pavement before being chased by the police.
