Video shows felled and uprooted trees in Osaka park following Typhoon Jebi

At least eleven people have been killed and about 600 injured after Typhoon Jebi ripped through Japan, the most powerful storm to hit the country in 25 years, media reported on September 6.

This video, shared to Instagram by Denis Irha, shows felled and uprooted trees at Tempozan Park in Osaka.

The typhoon caused widespread destruction in the cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya, forcing the shutdown of Kansai International Airport and stranding thousands of travelers. More than 400,000 households were left without power.

Clean-up operations are underway in the disaster-prone country,
