Improving your pipes? Burst water soaks London road
A Londoner spotted a burst pipe spraying water metres into the air with a very ironic accompanying sign yesterday evening (September 13).
The filmer, Jordan Peters, was walking home with his girlfriend after a visit to a nearby park when he spotted the gushing pipe.
The couple says they were in awe of the water's reach.
Peters said: "I tagged Thames Water on Twitter and was immediately contacted by an employee who was trying to find out where it was."
He later added: "someone’s definitely lost their job"
The footage was captured in the Hilly fields area near Brockley in South London.
