A burst water pipe in Leeds, England has caused major delays and road closures on Monday evening (November 25).

The A63 in Garforth was closed, due to a high-pressure water main erupting in the carriageway, according to the filmer.

Repairs may take upward of a week, according to reports.

The water main burst around 7:30pm this evening (25th November) causing water to shoot 50 feet into the air.
Police closed roads to avoid any more damage, and to allow the authorities to assess the extent of the damage.
****Update***** The road has reopened with temporary traffic lights in place, but one lane remains closed, which will cause long delays during peak hours.
