Amateur astronomer films extraordinary moment meteor exploded over his home
This is the incredible 'once in a lifetime' moment an amateur astrologer captured a METEOR entering the earth's atmosphere and exploding in the night sky.
Derek Robson, 58, filmed the breathtaking spectacle, which is rarely caught on camera, from his back garden wall at 5.07am on November 10. Stunning footage shows the fireball rapidly hurtling across the night sky before it explodes in a flash of white and disintegrates away.
