This video shows the dramatic rescue of a dog trapped between two walls in the Champapet area of Hyderabad, a city located in India's south.

According to local media, animal rescuers received reports on December 20 that a puppy was stuck in a narrow gap between the walls and unable to escape. Volunteers attended to the scene the same day, firstly using ropes and sticks to lure the dog out before deciding that the best way to do it would be to dig a hole from the ground floor of one of the houses.

After that, they were able to get hold of the puppy's hind legs and gently pull him forward.

On December 20th animal rescuers received information that a puppy was stuck in a narrow gap between two walls at Champapet area of Hyderabad city . rescue volunteer immediately rushed to the spot to start the rescue operation as puppy was under severe pain . Rscue teams used various methods to rescue the dog but none of them work .They used a ropes, sticks and tried all methods that has been used earlier in similar operations, but nothing worked. Then rescue team decided to dig a hole from the ground floor of one of the houses from where they could pull the puppy out After making a hole which was about the size of a football, Teja got hold of the puppy’s hind legs and carefully started pulling it out and managed to rescue the dog in a humane manner.
