Lucky escape as giant crane collapses at Indian construction site
This is the terrifying moment a construction machine weighing 120 tonnes toppled over and crashed into the road below on Saturday in India.
The incident occurred at a Metro construction site at Nashik Phata chowk, near the city of Pune.
Incredibly, there were no casualties as the driver of the crane-like machine managed to alert Metro staff the moment he realised there was a problem.
Staff stopped traffic heading from Pune towards Mumbai.
The Metro company said in a statement that they had taken action against a contractor and had imposed a fine.
