Three injured in shocking bridge collapse in China
Shocking footage has emerged from China of a bridge collapsing during a demolition, shortly before work was due to begin.
The CCTV footage, captured in Hubei Province, shows an excavator suddenly falling into a sixteen-metre pit when operating in the middle of the bridge on Tuesday, along with two workers standing nearby.
According to news reports, the bridge was undergoing 'demolition work' when the incident happened. Three people - the two workers and the excavator driver - were injured and are currently kept in a local hospital.
