A heroic man rescued an old woman and her grandson that fell into a lotus pond in a park in eastern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in Yangzhou City in Jiangsu Province on March 10, shows an old woman holding a boy in front of her to cross a pond over a stone walkway.

However, she suddenly slips into the pond and drags the boy down into it as well.

Then she can be seen struggling to raise the boy above the water while a man runs to help them.

The man jumps into the water without hesitation and then more people come to help pull the old woman and the boy back onto the stone together.

3月10日下午1时45分左右，一名老人带一名儿童在扬州市区荷花池公园游玩时，不慎落水，二人在水中挣扎，逐渐远离岸边。危急之际，一名中年男子快步走来，没有犹豫地跳入水中，飞快地将老人和小孩救起，二人转危为安。难能可贵的是，中年男子救人后，没有留下姓名就悄然离去。 而老人自己埋在水中时，仍死死举起孩子，令人动容。
