Locals in Indonesia build bridge out of coconut tree trunks during flash floods
People in Sentani, Indonesia build a bridge of coconut tree trunks to connect two areas as flash flood broke the road on Saturday night.
Aftermath footage shows damaged road and destructed cars lied on the bottom of the river bed as water still covered the road.
At least 89 people have been killed in the flash floods the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) reported.
''The numbers of victims keeps increasing because the affected area is very large,'' a BNPB spokesperson said.
Dozens are still missing and thousands have been evacuated to temporary shelters.
