Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong reopens after redevelopment

A longer version of the Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong. After a three year redevelopment programme, Hong Kong's Avenue of Stars reopened late last January. An oriental version of other avenues of stars, it runs along the promenade in Kowloon waterfront. There are statues,hand prints and photographs of movie stars past and present. The Hong Kong Film Awards presentations are made every April on the avenue. Hong Kong used to be called the Hollywood of the East, particularly because of stars such as Bruce Lee, a martial arts expert.
