The World's Worst Air Quality is in Chiang Mai,Thailand, reaching very unhealthy levels

Blamed on illegal burning in forests and agricultural land, the air quality index reached 200 on March 15 at 1 am, classed as very unhealthy. Neighbouring countries are also blamed for slash and burn farming methods. The acceptable PM 2.5 level is 37.5.
The governor of Chiangmai Province is offering public rewards of 10,000 Baht (GBP 219) for the prosecution of each reported culpable individual. People are advised to avoid outdoor activities and wear a mask.
