After postponing the festival for five hours, the Governors Ball was cancelled due to bad weather on Sunday, June 2.

There was a rain delay pushing the opening 5 hours past its original start time. Then, after being at the festival for no more than 3 hours, I was standing in the middle of grass having a break. Then I see heaps of thousands of people sprinting towards something. I asked what was happening and someone told me they just ended the festival because there was a storm coming. Then, Gov Ball decided it was safe to send thousands of people across a mile long bridge in the freezing rain, accompanied by thunder and lightening.
