Hit and Run Crash Results in Sheared Hydrant and one Vehicle Colliding Into the Side of a Building
LAFD responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles in the 8800 block of S Sepulveda Blvd at the intersection with La Tijera Blvd. Arriving crews located a black crown victoria crashed into the side of a building and a silver SUV with major damage in the middle of the intersection. One of the vehicles struck and sheared a hydrant at the corner of the intersection which left a large geyser spewing in the air. At least one party was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation as a hit and run. It's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
