California Fire Riverside County responded to multiple reports of people calling into 911 to report the sounds of loud collision at the intersection of Redlands Blvd and Nuevo Road in the city of Perris in Riverside County, California and with one reporting party stating that the vehicle crashed into a home and into a neighbor's home.

Arriving crews located a silver sedan with major damage on the sidewalk on top of a sheared hydrant that was flooding the street. The driver was located a short distance away from the vehicle and was declared deceased by paramedics.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time or if the alcohol or speed were factors in the collision.

PERRIS, CA - On Friday 07-02-2021 at about 12:45 am, Cal Fire responded to a crash between two vehicles at the intersection of Redlands Blvd and Nuevo Rd.

Arriving crews located a 2004 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 and a 2006 Volvo S40 involved in the collision. The Volvo suffered major damage and sheared a hydrant before coming to rest on the sidewalk.

A passenger on board the Volvo identified as 18-year-old Noah Serrano of Menifee was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.

The drivers of both vehicles were transported by ambulance to local hospitals with unknown injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation and it's unknown at this time if alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
