LAFD responded to reports of an officer involved crash at 2086 N Beverly Glen Blvd. Arriving crews located an LAPD cruiser with major damage and a blue two door sports car with major rear end damage. Another vehicle, a red two door sports car was parked on the side of the roadway with rear end and damage to the rear left side of the car. It's unknown at this time if the officer and the juvenile were the only involved in the crash or if the red sports car was also involved. The cause of the collision is unknown and under investigation. The officer didn't suffer any injuries in the crash. The juvenile suffered minor injuries and was evaluated by medical on scene. It's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
