Dramatic video from on-board Virgin Atlantic flight VS43 as it performed a "non-standard" landing at Gatwick after developing reported landing gear problems in mid-air on Monday (TODAY).

The video shows passengers on the plane as they're ordered to brace for landing, "stay in the brace position until the aircraft stops completely" heard over the speakers, and the scene after they're able to disembark. The filmer later wrote online "took off from Gatwick and now back at Gatwick, the plane just made an emergency landing with 2 wheels, not a clue how he did it", describing it as "crazy".

A cloud of smoke erupted from the wheels as the Boeing 747 eventually touched down - after circling between Gatwick and the coast apparently to burn off fuel. The flight was travelling from Gatwick to Las Vegas.
