El Sereno Driver Crashes Into Hydrant and Parked Cars Flooding a Residence and Fleeing the Scene

LAFD responded to reports of a vehicle vs a hydrant and parked cars at 2575 N Mallory Street, Los Angeles at about 2:13 a.m. Arriving units located a sedan crashed into a hydrant, a pickup truck. The sheared hydrant was spewing a large geyser into the street and flooding a residence. Two other vehicles were involved in the crash due to being parked behind the pickup truck that was hit by the suspect vehicle. The suspect appears to have fled the scene. LAPD is investigating.
