The doors on a lift in a residential community in Southern China crashed open after a kung fu lover punched them.

The CCTV footage, filmed in Changsha City in Hunan Province on June 1, shows a man performing some kung fu moves on one of his friends in an elevator.

Then he can be seen stretching his arm toward and performing the one-inch punch on the elevator doors.

According to reports, the doors were pushed out a bit after being punched by the man and hit the wall inside the shaft, causing the malfunction.

The man is negotiating with property management about compensation.

6月1日，湖南长沙一小区电梯内，一位穿白色T恤的男子，开始先是对着另外一名穿着黑色T恤的同伴，展示自己的功夫，紧接着把目标对向了电梯门，但意想不到的事情发生了，男子出拳瞬间，电梯门爆裂，电梯也停止运行，大家瞬间被惊呆。据了解，白衣男子确实是一位武术爱好者，当天他出拳瞬间，电梯门（轿门）被挤出去了一点，然后正在下行的电梯门，又恰好顶上了电梯井的墙壁（厅门），然后在这种挤压冲击力下，电梯门爆裂。目前，该男子和小区物业还在协商赔偿处理中。
