Locals Walk Along This Narrow Ledge To Reach Homes
Residents have to walk along this narrow ledge hanging over a stream every time they come and go from their homes. The narrow walkway - just 35cm wide and with a 6ft drop - has claimed many victims, said local resident Jaeca Estiller who lives there in in Manila, the Philippines. She said: "It gets more dangerous during the rainy season because it gets slippery. A lot of kids have fallen to the water because of that bridge. No one has been seriously hurt, but the water is not really clean either." Jaeca also fears that more children will get hurt because it is the only route to the new local elementary school that was built last year.
