A kitten was saved in Indonesia after an animal rescuer carefully smashed the toilet the tiny cat had fallen into.

An animal rescue officer from the Kotawaringin Barat Fire Brigade used a hammer to chip away at the squat-toilet bowl, until he could reach in and lift the kitten out.

The dirty moggy was then given a gentle rinse with some clean water.

Homeowner Rizka was delighted the little one was rescued, despite the damage to his lavatory.

This is moment a kitten trapped into the bathroom closet saved by the officers with extreme caution.

In the footage filmed at Rizka's home in Pangkalan Bun on Borneo, July 15, Indonesian animal rescue officers from the Kotawaringin Barat Fire Brigade broke the closet in the toilet to save a kitten stuck in it.

The kitten was heard meowing in fear and asking for help, the officer tried to keep the porcelain from hurt Rizka's pet.

According to Rizka, the incident began when he got his cat suddenly in the closet make panics, then contacted Pangkalan Bun street feeding community but suggested contacting officers at the Fire Department.

Poor kitten rescued after large part of the closet was hollow. Officers clean the kitten's body and give it to the owner to warmed up.

At the end cat owner thanks to the officers, while understanding his closet was broken to save the life his beloved kitten. "That's the main thing."
