A creative man used the shells from crayfish, crabs and cicadas to make monster-like artwork in eastern China.

The video, filmed in Ningbo city in Zhejiang province on June 6, shows the 24-year-old man using crab and crayfish shells to make dinosaur and monster-shaped artwork.

In another video, the man can be seen using glue to stick the cicada shells together to form several sculptures.

The man is a craftsman who makes sculptures out of dough. He happened to notice the odd shape of crayfish shells and came up with the idea to turn them into artwork.

浙江宁波一名24岁小伙儿，本事是一名面塑手艺人，他擅长的是捏面人儿。一次吃完小龙虾后，他偶然间发现龙虾壳奇形怪状，或许可以作为不错的创作原料，于是他大胆尝试，把清洗后的小龙虾壳再利用，制作出了一个个怪兽模样的工艺品，没想到比面人要更受大家欢迎。于是便一发不可收拾，他把蟹壳，知了壳以及各种可以利用的昆虫壳，都做为了创作的原料，一个个形象各异的怪兽便诞生了。
