An 81,000-ton cable-stayed bridge was completed after being rotated into position in northern China's Baoding city today (July 30).

In the drone clip, the two towers can be seen rotating to connect with each other, forming the 495-metre-long and 39.7-metre-wide cable-stayed bridge.

The swivel construction helps overcome the restriction of topography, transportation and environment, reduce the construction cost and time and ensure safety.

A 92-ton weight and 6.5-metre-diametre rotating device have been installed under the bridge to make it spin.

The weight of the bridge and the span of the rotating work have created two world records.
