A scooter rider narrowly escapes being run over by a truck after being knocked down on a road in eastern China.

The terrifying video, filmed in Wenzhou city in Zhejiang province on August 14, shows a truck bumping into a scooter and knocking the rider to the ground.

Since the truck driver did not notice the incident, he continued to drive forward, running over the scooter.

The scooter rider is seen quickly rolling out the way of the oncoming vehicle to avoid being run over.

According to reports, the scooter rider did not pay attention to the road condition and drove into the blind spot of the truck driver.

Fortunately, the scooter rider only suffered scratches to her knee.
