I took this video at the Airport pub at Manchester airport on weds 4.9.19 in the garden at the back.

My daughter is a plane fanatic so wanted to go and view the planes coming in to land in the wind as it was bad this particular evening.
We was aware the airbus A380 was due so on approach so started to film, which we have done dozens of times.

On approach, the plane you could see was experiencing a lot of turbulence , when landing you could see the back end of the plane was very low and was going to be a bit of a bumpy landing. The plane literally bounced off the runway and had to do an emergency takeoff due to the impact from the floor.
Everyone around us was gasping in horror as we didn’t know what was happening.

I felt extremely scared for those on board but well done to the pilot for a safe landing some time later at Heathrow.

On 4 September, an Emirates Airline Airbus A380 (A6-EVA) operated flight EK19 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Manchester, United Kingdom. The aircraft performed a go-around at Manchester due to adverse weather conditions but was unable to hold around the airport due to fuel reasons. The pilots declared a fuel mayday and decided to divert to London Heathrow.
