A heroic man wades through flooded streets of Leicestershire, England to rescue a woman who is stuck in her car.

The clip, filmed October 1 shows the moment Scott pushed the woman’s car with one hand into the middle of the road where she was able to drive away.

The daytime hero explained to Newsflare: “I’ve not heard from the lady since I found her stuck under a bridge during the serious rainstorm. She was sat in her vehicle with her seat belt on gripping the steering wheel when I asked if she wanted help. She had water up around her seat. I started pushing her out using one hand whilst capturing it on my phone. She was very grateful for my help but I think she was also a bit embarrassed.”
