Refugee children traumatised by South African police
Children of refugees who camped outside the offices of the UNHCR building in Cape Town, were left traumatised by the actions of South African police who moved in to evict them from the building. The police forced hundreds of refugees from the building using water canons, rubber bullets, batons and stun grenades.
