Shocking scene as container truck rams into toll booth on south Indian road
A container truck was caught on CCTV ramming into a toll booth and dragged it away, killing two, on a road in south India.
A toll booth employee was also injured in the accident near Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu on December 1.
The incident filmed by traffic cameras shows the driver of the truck ramming the toll booth and then hitting two two-wheelers.
S Chennappan, 61, who was riding a motorbike, and S Pramila, 51, who was on the pillion of another two-wheeler were identified as the deceased by the police.
An injured toll booth staff, P Kavitha, 33, is being treated at Krishnagiri District Government Headquarters Hospital.
Police have arrested truck driver Sivakumar, 37, and are investigating the incident.
