Flooding in Faversham, Kent due to Thames Estuary tidal storm surge
Drivers had to negotiate flooding in Faversham, Kent today outside the Shepherd Neame brewery, as a high spring tide combined with a tidal storm surge in the Thames Estuary caused Faversham Creek to flood into the adjacent road. A small team from the Environment Agency were onsite monitoring the situation.
